Flushable Cat Litter
Lee Dobbins

Defined Tag:

There are many different kinds of cat litter on the market today and what you use is largely up to your personal preference but many people find flushable cat letter to be quite convenient.  This cat litter can be flushed right down the toilet making it easy to clean out the litter box.

A flushable cat litter avoids the inconvenience for pet owners of manually scoop-uping the cat waste and cleaning the cat litter box. It uses dust-free granules instead of the conventional cat litter. The granules are washable and are afterwards treated with a water-based solution for disinfection. The waste is also deodorized to give-out a pleasant odor and mask the ammonia that is usually present in cat feces. Pet owners do not even have to worry about accidentally inhaling the dust that is the by-product of treating the waste with cat litter.

Flushable cat litter is pretty easy to use you literally just scoop it throw the toilet and flush.  While flushable litter does clomp, not all clumping litter is flushable so you need to make sure that the litter you are buying can be flushed down your septic system, and also that your type of system can handle it.

A pet owner does not have to train his pet cat to use the toilet anymore. Instead, he can simply use flushable litter; and once the cat has used the litter box several times, he can simply flush the clumps of litter down the toilet, saving time and preventing a normally filthy process.
